On June 23, the Agency for Protection of Competition had the pleasure to host the representatives of the Delegation of the European Union to Montenegro, Mr. Yngve Engstroem and Mr. Dobromir Hristov.
Representatives of the Agency for Protection of Competition, President of the Council, Dragan Damjanović, member of the Council, Plana Karadžić and acting Director, Nebojsa Jovovic, had the opportunity to talk to representatives of the Delegation of the European Union in Montenegro, and to present the results achieved so far, as well as the Agency’s plans for activities in the field of competition and state aid control in Montenegro, especially in terms of meeting the criteria for closing of Negotiating Chapter 8 – Competition.
Efficiency and effectiveness of work, as well as spreading awareness of competition protection and state aid control, are the main priorities of the new management of the Agency, with the aim of full membership of Montenegro in the European Union.
